Birth

The page on the left is inspired by a song I was listening to. I love the chant it goes through at the end.

The song repeats over and over that “you’re everyone else”  which is a really alarming thought. It makes me think that our identity should reflect our actions.

If you’re everyone else, how can you offer anything different than what the world has to offer?

We’re born into society, which is defined by people. They’ve defined roles, identities, job descriptions, personalities, fashions, you name it. We think that we determine our own reality/destiny, but who really does when we only try to fit ourselves into a system that is not original, but secondary to a greater, all-encompassing reality? Perhaps, we should rather try to find ourselves under the universal, natural system that isn’t even a system in the first place – it just is.
