Good Grief..

The idea for this image goes to Edgar R McHerly. I loved his image so much that I decided to do a really quick sketch of it just to get the idea on paper.

This is probably the first sketch I’ve ever seen that actually made me sad.. I really felt bad for the tree. And after I finished sketching it, I showed the picture to a friend and she got choked up just by looking at it.

I don’t really know what to make of that.. is it foolish that I felt bad for the tree? Maybe..

Anyway, there’s the image.  Hope you like it!

      Tree’s must know of a sentiment far greater than we can ever understand, huh? I mean, they are attached till the end. For some while i ignored the environmentalist spark that i annoyed you with a while back ago. This reminded me. Thanks:)
