Just Details

Point of view can really mix up a lot of things.

I have a point of view that might not agree with yours.

And you have a point of view that I might find just a little twisted.

Does that mean we’re both wrong? And if we’re both wrong and we meet someone with another point of view, how can we judge if his is valid when we have nothing to base it on?

What a strange way to look at point of view, right?

I mean, who gave me the power to tell you that you were wrong?  Is there even a such thing as wrong when it comes to opinions?

If I look at a fly on a piece of bread and tell you that it looks like it’s praying, can you say “you’re wrong, It doesn’t look like that”..?

There has to be a better way to argue and convince someone to listen to you.

There just has to be.

Next time you have the impulse to defend your point of view, why not listen and get in the position of the person that you are attacking.

Angels speak through the lips of others and if we don’t listen, we don’t learn.

And the rest are just details…

With Love,

J. Schay

I hope I never get to a point where I am unwilling to learn a new perspective or a new skill or a new anything. What I fear most is the stubbornness that comes with old age; but by then, I’ll most likely have found comfort in that brick-ness. The crawling turtle is content in his IDK-ness, but the tortoise is walking upright and experiencing a higher perspective. May we all find comfort in discomfort and answer questions with more questions!
