Sometimes you have to look above someone to figure out if they’re hanging on strings.
Sometimes it’s pretty clear, and the strings might as well be ropes.
Sometimes, while judging these other people, we forget to look above ourselves.
I wonder how long I could go without knowing myself.
Socrates was famous for saying “the unexamined life is not worth living.” If you think about that for a little bit you begin to understand what he meant.
Who are you?
Why are you who you are?
Are you happy with yourself?
You are one of your best critics you have if you really listen to yourself. You can change everything or nothing by simply listening to the right within each of your wrongs. It all has to do with how much you actually know about yourself.
“Know thyself.”
Socrates also said that no one knowingly does evil.
Is evil really just a lack of self understanding?
Is it really that easy to fix?
I hope you’re all doing well,
